BOOK PACKAGING & REPRESENTATION

I have more than twenty years experience with nonfiction books, including client representation, writing and editing, design and typesetting, and print procurement in the US and abroad. I got my start by writing and publishing InterCourses: an aphrodisiac cookbook with Randall. It has sold more than 325,000 copies in the US and Canada, plus foreign rights to England, Australia, and Germany. Since then, we have worked with leading publishers such as Clarkson Potter, Grand Central, and Random House, and we produce books and packaging for clients such as the Embrey Human Rights Foundation, Patrón Liquor, Concierge Auctions, and Disney on Ice.

Most recently, I sold a book of essays on the Filipino diaspora to a Hong Kong publisher and a fine art cocktail book to Hachette, the third largest publisher in the world. These are due out in 2023. Coming in early 2021 is The Natural History of Scent by Elise Pearlstine from Yale University Press. Early reviews are comparing her work to Michael Pollan. I am currently pitching a jam maker based in France and a memoirist who writes for the New York Times.
